I devoured this book in a day. It left me feeling pretty morose, but I loved the narrator's voice.

i must be on a roll (or not), b/c i couldn't read this book...it was very stream of consciousness, told from the mind of a young boy...words were misspelled as if he were writing it, and that turned me off immediately. it's back to the bookshelves for me!!
I enjoyed this, in the way that I would enjoy talking to a precocious child. You have to keep in mind that the narrator is a nine-year old boy and sees the world from that vantage point.
