I've not been a huge fan in the past of regency era novels. This book however has made me a fan. I read it in about 7 hours basically only putting it down a few times. It was. So. Good. It was good enough that I'm going to break my own rule of only reading books on Kindle Unlimited and I'm going to ...

I almost didn't borrow this novel from the library as I generally dislike the trope of crossing class gap primarily my unwillingness to suspend disbelief if the hardships involved with this particular scenario. However, the murder suspense and the excellent character development distracted me from ...

Uptight duke marries courtesan. Not my favorite trope, because it's just too outré, even in Romancelandia. But this book was better than I expected, and the duke's inevitable epiphany was rather well done. There's also a murder and missing diamonds. Quite entertaining, but not a book I'll ever read ...

The "three diamonds" are courtesans...a nice word for prostitute back then, only supposedly for one man at a time. And the heroine in this book is one of the three diamonds, a very popular trio. Even...

There's a reason it's called historical fiction. I doubt this pairing would've ever worked in real life, but the book was a quick, fun read. I did have issue with some of the things Will called Juliette, but it did not seem out of character for him in the beginning of the book, so I let it slide.

So you might remember how much I loved Rogue Pirate's Bride by Shana Galen. It was everything I want in a romance novel and featured PIRATES! So obviously I was excited when I saw this one pop up so I immediately ordered it. And I'm so glad I did! When You Give A Duke A Diamond is totally different f...
