Review also posted at Ja čitam, a ti?Thanks to this 2013-TBR-pile-challenge I started reading the books that have been on my shelf forever. Of course I should have read this one a while ago but that's me after all. Wherever You Go took me by surprise mostly because I haven't read the blurb (sur...

This was a sweet, difficult story of how three teens try to come to grips with the sometimes expectations leveled at them by society. The twist (this is not a spoiler) is that one of them is dead and the other two are morning him. I found this story very interesting.

I connected with this novel almost immediately, when I started reading. I felt such overwhelming sadness and empathy for Holly and the situation that she was dealing with. It wasn't bad enough that she'd survived a car accident that killed her boyfriend, but now she finds herself thrown head-long in...

Cross posted on my blog: Take Me Away... On the Pages of Your StoryThis book held a really great story. In many ways it reminded me of If I Stay by Gayle Foreman which I LOVED! It had all the romance, plus the ghostly kind of feel to it. In this story, author Heather Davis was able to describe in pe...

Wherever You Go was not at all what I expected. It was part ghost story, part contemporary romance, and 100% amazing. Heather Davis is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.Holly still loves Rob but he is gone. She knows she needs to move on but she can't. Then Jason gets involved and thin...

I loved that the reader see the affect of Rob's death not just on Holly but on his friends and fam...

Wherever You Go is an emotional roller coaster with three main characters who evoke sympathy, pain and the different forms of love. Ms. Davis wrote the character's well, and their voices are distinct. Even if she didn't use different point of views, I could keep their voice straight. The perspective...

With Wherever You Go, Heather Davis has another winner. The issues are hard-hitting and universal, and the family relationships are so realistic that they hurt to read. Jason's devotion to Holly is a little too good to be true, but they're a couple to cheer for. If you enjoyed Heather Davis's The Cl...

This gripping novel addresses a host of complex emotional & social issues (class divisions, poverty, Alzheimer's, depression, suicide, love) without being preachy or feeling like an after-school special. The only thing that I didn't like was the use of the 2nd person voice for the ghost; it just di...
