This is a legitimately good Hardy Boys adventure. There's mystery, suspense, danger (look at the front cover!) and a pretty nifty secret inside the mansion.
I think the Hardy Boy books helped me with learning deductive and inductive skills. I had to work through logic. Who knew? I enjoyed all these books.
