It's taken me almost two months to read this, on and off because it was taking far too long to get anywhere interesting. I'd read every page up until about the 40% mark and then because it was taking forever for anything even remotely interesting to happen I just couldn't muster the want to read it....
I've been reading Nora Roberts for as long as I can remember. I've always counted on her books being good, so I don't bother reading the jacket, just pick up the newest one. This was good, but not great. Eli and Abra made quite a team. First she comes pushing into his life and he never really resist...
Kind of dragged in the middle and the end was a bit too pat, but Nora Roberts likes to write those kinds of books; I've read a lot of them, so I know! Maybe I just wasn't in the mood. It was longer and more involved than some of her books, so I give her points for that.
Whiskey Beach by Nora RobertsEli Landren was back in town writing his novel. Some others in town think he did kill his wife as they had argued earlier that day.the woman neighbor, Abra Walsh next door makes pancakes and cleans his house, does his laundry and will give him a massage. Abra is very good...
Ms. Roberts does it again with a lovely romantic suspense. This is a 3.5 star book with good plot and engaging characters. Abra Walsh is an awesome female who beats to her own drum. She's a survivor and does what makes her happy. When her past is disclosed, it's admirable how she overcame it all...

That's definitely what happened here - a book I thought I'd have very little interest in, and once I started, I couldn't put ...
Have a bias here- I love Nora Roberts. I think I have read possibly 99% of her books. She is a comfort author for me. I get excited when I see that she has released a new title. Every now and then, especially when you go back to her earlier works in the 1980's, you'll come across a stinker. But I fi...
WHISKEY BEACH was another powerful romantic suspense title from Nora Roberts. I fell in love with both Eli Landon and Abra Walsh. Eli has come back home to Whiskey Beach to try to rebuild his life after being accused of killing his estranged wife. He has lost his career as a criminal defense lawyer ...
Whiskey Beach is the latest offering from Ms. Roberts. It's an enjoyable read/listen. I listened to the audio book and really enjoyed the narrator. The main thing that appealed to me were the characters. I loved Eli. Any man who loved his grandmother as much as he does is a good man in my book. ...
