I tried to read this book many times. I now wonder what took me so long! I really enjoyed this book, and the touching example of what a kind heart can do to a damaged soul.

The novel White Fang is quite different from the movie. Basically only the very heart of the story is kept: a dog/wolf who doesn't know live until he finally comes to a good master. The movie was one of my childhood favourites but I really enjoyed the book as well.
