Well, once again, I feel bad. I really should have liked this book. We've got a former spy who turned into an Anglican priest. I have a fondness for Anglican clergy. We've got an eccentric, small British village. I love old-time small British village life. We've got quirky characters galore. I love ...

Cute cozy set in an English village. Main character is an Episcopal priest who use to be a Spook. Definitely not as good as Agatha Christie, but certainly an enjoyable read with a nice cup of tea.

I particularly enjoyed the setting (a little English village). The characters were well-written, and I enjoyed getting to know Max's background as a former MI5 a...

Rating: 3.125* of fiveThe Book Report: Sexy, haunted Maxen "Max" Tudor, former MI5 (domestic spying branch, think FBI not CIA, which any Bond fan knows is MI6) superagent and present-day Anglican priest and vicar of Nether Monkslip, revels in his obscure village's somewhat habitual somnolence, broke...
