there were a lot of elements about this book that i wish i could change. the characters handle violence in a very, very nonchalant way - even characters that aren't reincarnated gods or goddesses, perfectly normal humans that should be a little more concerned about what the hell goes on around them....
Several people recommended Karsten Knight’s Wildefire to me because I’m Polynesian, Tongan, and this is one of the only YA novel featuring a Polynesian lead that they knew about. The concept is promising, a Polynesian female lead with the powers of a goddess. Unfortunately, Wildefire not only doesn’...
I love a good story about reincarnated Gods and Goddesses. I got one with Wildefire! Not your typical greek mythology either. Polynesian, Haitian, Egyptian, and more, really mesh together different cultures to make the powers awesome and the adventures fresh and exciting!
I can't wait to read the next book! I might have to go buy it tomorrow... That ending was something!Overview 2/5 Stars for the first half. I know, so sad!4.5/5 stars for the second. Yay!Total: 3.25 StarsReview to come!!!

And not because of the supernatural elements. Also, I didn't like Ashline....
Hmm. I had a hard time deciding how many stars to give this.On the one hand: What a relief to have a strong main female character no one would describe as "feisty." Ever notice that only harmless creatures are described as feisty? Lions are not feisty unless they're cubs. Ditto bears. Men are *never...
