Bill Berman works with corporate executives and their teams to ● Enhance the emotional intelligence, interpersonal impact and strategic breadth of existing leaders and their teams to deliver better results for the business and the team. ● Accelerate new leadership transitions by helping create and communicate a clear vision, focused strategy, operational process and organizational structure, and ● Assess executive strengths, capabilities and fit for an organization;Bill is a seasoned consultant with 30 years experience as an executive coach, senior line manager, clinician and academic. He has been assessing individuals since 1983, delivered organizational consulting and executive coaching since 1993, and has consulted to executives and C-suite business leaders since returning to full-time consulting in 2004. Bill has advised senior leaders and general managers from consumer products, financial services, pharmaceuticals, publishing and manufacturing companies, working with executives from the C-Suite, Managing Directors, and both general and functional management.Previously, Bill started his own software company in 1995 to track healthcare outcomes, which he grew and subsequently sold to The Echo Group, an enterprise healthcare information system company. He served on Echo's executive management team as the head of professional services, expanding the function to generate 25% of annual corporate revenues through consulting, implementation, training, and support functions. In 2004, Bill started Berman Leadership Development, integrating his management experience and psychological expertise into his coaching and team-performance engagements. Bill's early career included clinical and executive consulting work, teaching at Cornell University Medical College, and full time academic research and teaching at Fordham University, where he received tenure in 1994. Bill received his B.A. from Harvard College, and his Ph.D. from Yale University. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and board certified by the American College of Professional Psychology. He has published 3 books and more than 50 articles on a variety of subjects in business, personality, and healthcare performance measurement.
