Another novella, another short review. This short story takes place when Meghan is going to the Unseelie Court with Ash. It fills the gap that happens between book one and two. I got really annoyed with Ash. He was just all distant and acted like he didn't care about Meghan. He should have made it...

Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Megh...

I found this to be a nice little story of Ash and Meghan's journey to the Winter Court. I'm always a fan of more Ash time because he's so interesting. Every scene with him gives tiny little morsals of what lies underneath. The reason I didn't rate this higher was that there was really nothing new ad...

There isn’t really a plot to summarise of this story – this is Meghan’s travel from her home to Tir Na Nog to fulfil the contract she made with Ash.This novella is a nice bridge book.It doesn’t exist to advancer the plot per se. Nor really to develop the characters. Puck, Meghan and Ash are the same...

This review also appears on The NerdHerd Reads I think I was very disappointed with this one because I was expecting it to be in Ash's point of view, and it wasn't. It was in Meghan's. I feel like that defeats the purpose. I mean, you've got your main books from the point of view of one character,...

Super quick read that would have worked better as the preface of book 2. Considering the length, I didn't need all the reminding about the first book.

I actually got Winter’s Passage as a Kindle freebie a couple years ago. At the time, I had never even heard of The Iron Fey series. However, after reading The Iron King, I needed just a little more before moving on to review books, so I picked up this novella.Winter’s Passage picks up right at the e...

This fits in just perfectly with the novels on either side of it. It's short and sweet and full of action . . . and Ash, of course. I loved it.

So good! A nice, quick and entertaining read that makes me want to read Iron Daughter even more!

The romance between Ash and Meghan is starting to become really, really repetitive — a burst of passion, then days and days of cold indifference and ignoring from Ash. Which is really annoying. And if you're expecting some action scenes, don't get your hopes up. The climax gets ruined.
