Wishful Drinking - Carrie Fisher I'm not much of a fan of memoirs or autobiographies but you know, Carrie Fisher. Parts melodramatic, parts hysterical. Overall it was an ok way to past the time.
For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleThis was an entertaining read. I picked up a copy of the audiobook from the library to listen to while driving for work. The book is basically a collection of thoughts, stories, anecdotes, and jokes. I'll admit, I didn't really know much about Carrie F...
I Picked Up This Book Because: Celebrity bios are my thing now. The Story: Carrie is an interesting lady. In this book she is very open about her life, her family and her struggles. The Random Thoughts: The Score Card: 3.5 Stars
Przyznaję szczerze, pewnie jak większość "szarych ludzi" znam Carrie Fisher głównie z roli księżniczki Lei w Gwiezdnych Wojnach. No i jako córkę Debbie Reynolds, ikony amerykańskiego kina. Tyle. I really, really wanted to enjoy this book. I wanted to laugh until tears were coming down my face. I wanted to, but I didn't. I chuckled a few times, laughed out loud once or twice. I saw some clips of Carrie Fisher's one woman show (from which this book is drawn), and found it laugh-out-loud funny...
