What can one say. This is the groundbreaker for so much current fantasy. I loved it, and it's around the 5th-6th time I've read it.
I'm starting a massive re-read of Witch World novels (at least those I can get hold of - which seems to be 24 out of 30+). I read most of them over 30 years ago. I won't be writing major reviews, but let's just say I'm pleasantly surprised how well this one has held up compared to some of her SF nov...
A fun, quick fantasy with some nicely done action scenes and a bit of romance. Listened to the audio read by Nick Podehl who was pleasant enough to listen to though not overly exciting.
A man finds himself on an alternate world and possessed of psychic powers, and while these powers are not uncommon on the other world they are only possessed by women. A YA Fantasy classic from before there was a YA publishing category.
