Wow, this book was amazing. I never tired of it and there were so many interesting things tied into the story. The Salem witch trials, and even mythology. Ms. Cruz is a definite top author.

Everything makes sense now! But why did the author have to go and throw in that terrible twist at the end?! *sob*

While reading The Witches of East End, I felt a little like I was starting a new TV show (a soap if we’re being honest) halfway through the first season. A bit long on the plot development and a lot rushed in the climax, but overall worth staying with to see where she goes with this. A solid world-building and interesting cast of characters. NOT a YA book, due to graphic sexual interludes.

How did I get from witches to ... well, I can't tell you because that would ruin the ending. Not a bad book, but I just wish de la Cruz kept her YA series separate from her adult attempt. I didn't see any gain from allowing the two to mix, it just made me sigh and roll my eyes. Also, someone get this...

I suppose I thought it was going to be like an adult Blue Bloods. B...

This book was rather interesting, though it might be considered in the category of a light read, although I have to admit the norse mythology was very confusing and it would have helped if the beauchamps were just witches, period. But a word of advice- you have to read Melissa's Blue Bloods series fi...
