I really found myself to enjoy this a great deal. The vulnerability that Maggie have just strikes a chord in me. And Eric - This big hunk that's so gentle yet fierce - I totally loved their mating.
This was nice, the female lead had issues that she needed her mate to back off and give her some time. The really nice part is that is just what he did! It's nice to read paranormal smut where the author doesn't feel the need to make the male lead to be a chauvinistic asshat!
I’m really loving the Granite Lake Wolves series, but I have to be honest here. vRead this review on my blog! --> Book TravelsThis book was actually more fun than the others, because we have the sexy Beta from the pack meeting his mate and a Olympics Games with wolves from all around the countries. Another good story. I liked both Eric and Maggie. I do wish we'd gotten more info on the problems Maggie was having because she denied her wolf. I liked that she didn't just give in instantly to the mate-bond.
I really enjoyed reading about Maggie. Even though she had been abused she was not willing to stay hidden away in defeat. Definitely reading the rest of the series.
