Robyn Maxwell doesn't care that her brother has to cancel out on their backcountry ski trip. She can do it alone. The fact she's deaf doesn't make her survival skills any weaker. The chance to get away from it all and relax in the Yukon wilderness is just what she's been craving. Meeting wilderness guide Keil at the cabin starts cravings of another kind. From the first chapter I was hooked. There was little not to like about this story and it was a great way to begin a series. I loved Robyn and her strength combined with her spunk. I loved Keil a...
This is a very lighthearted read. With a deaf heroine who doesn't know she's a shifter until she meets her mate, it could have been dark and angsty. Instead the overall tone is light and silly. It wasn't quite what I expected, but I enjoyed it.
