I love B. Woods stories about Pre Columbian America. She has such attention to detail and it sweeps the reader to those ancient times. In some portions the tale of Tonina, Kaan, One Eye and Balam was a bit repetitive as well as drawn out. But it was worth experiencing the evolution of the characters...
