Due to copy and paste, formatting has been lost. For whatever reason, Wrapped didn't really work for me. It was entertaining and all, but I didn't really love it. The mystery was overly predictable (I had it all figured out within a few chapters), and the action parts were just too convenient for my ...

I dropped this book around page 100; it was just too fluffy, while at the same time annoying.I don't think the things I didn't like will bother every reader. My chief gripe, a common with historical fiction, is that it was just too inaccurate. The way the characters thought, the ways they interacted...

I have to admit that I was excited to read this book, from the moment I received my advanced copy through Netgalley. A great yarn - I particularly appreciated the inclusion of an Author's note, detailing a couple of deviations from known history. Gives me confidence that even tho this is a bit of fiction, the author has taken a deal of care to make sure details are right and true.

An enjoyable light read, but as others have said, rather predictable. I liked the Jane Austen references.

This is in the category of historical fiction which really didn’t work for me. I was willing to suspend my disbelief up to a certain point, but when the heroine is able to speak something like seven languages, including Greek and Russian, my suspension snaps. Actually, I’ll just link you to the Book...

First off, isn’t this cover gorgeous? It’s what attracted me to this book. I am glad I did because it took me away from the present for a couple of fun-filled hours. Infused with history, humor and romance, Wrapped is an adventure tale featuring a plucky heroine.Agnes Wilkins is not your typical Reg...
