This is the second Manga story in the Vampire Kisses series. Graveyard Games. A little different Cinderella. Dark. Lovely. Fun. One sip and the whole book was 'read'. I really enjoyed it and look foreward to probably more of that.
I don't know why I bought this. I know it was a used copy, and I think it was really cheap. That's still not a good explanation, because OEL manga adaptations of books don't generally have a good track record with me. Plus, I haven't even read any of Melissa Marr's books. I thought this was an adap...
I still love Raven's style, the story was still great, and I definitely can't wait for the next volume... BUT I didn't like the new way Raven and some of the other characters were being drawn. I also wish it had had a slightly more captivating storyline. To me, Blood Relatives was much better. Never...
This book was a bit difficult to rate. I didn't know whether I wanted to give it a three or a four. A three because I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the second volume... but I did enjoy it and didn't find too many faults in this volume so I just went with a four. Plus, I have been somewhat of a fa...
Man, am I glad I continued on with this series. This volume was a lot better than the first, in my opinion. I thought it was a lot more organized and put together than the last. It seemed more cleaner... more smooth. I know there are times when I am reading manga and it seems to only get worse and w...
Yup! You guessed it! I am still going strong with my manga binge. I don't plan to stop anytime soon. I'm just having so much fun with these. I cannot wait to keep going~ So I decided that after the last bomb I reviewed (seriously, that manga was utter crap) I had to go for something that had a littl...
While I dislike the character designs--they can be kind of inconsistent and something about the eyes weirds me out in a way eyes don't normally weird me out--I love the outfit designs. Loved them in the last three volumes too.Now then, the storyline. It's ridiculous. It's stupid. It's funny. It's co...
Thank God for Melissa Marr, seriously. In an ocean full of been there-done that - or, as our friend Gwen would say, "Same Shit, Different Author" - Marr's stories have formed an oasis of sorts for us. They're beautiful, tragic, unique, and captivating - Wicked Lovely is one of the best contemporary ...

Volume two of Desert Tales, Challenge, introduces the series conflict, and that's when things get really interesting. The best part of the Wicked Lovely series has always been the faery politics, so I was glad to see that it, not romance, would be the focus of Desert Tales. Rika is unwillingly sucke...
