For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleI listened to the audiobook and it was amazing! It was read by Felicia Day and Joss Whedon (foreword), which made it that much better.I didn't know much about Felicia Day before checking this out from the library. I knew she was a gamer and had seen he...
She's so relatable and sweet in this book. I like her even more after reading it. I'm not a big gaming, but I still found it easy to understand when she talked about that part of her life. Her upbringing is very interesting also.
I will first admit that I only knew Felicia Day from the Youtube channel 'Geek & Sundry' and from a few very awesome 'Supernatural' episodes. As much as I would love to say that I'm also a gamer girl, I'm not. Way back in my childhood, I had friends who had PS2's (or XBox's, etc., etc.,) and when I ...
I know there's a slim chance she'd ever actually see this post, but I thought it would be worth it to aim my title directly at her regardless. Because seriously, guys, I love her. I have always admired and respected her, ever since I first watched her in Dr. Horrible, and that respect and admirati...
Felicia Day has been on my radar since I saw her in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. I know, she was doing wonderful geeky stuff before then and as a fellow nerd, I am sad to say that I had been missing out. Then I won a copy of her memoir, read it (and loved it), and went on to watch The Guild, whic...

That was enough for me to give You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) a try. And I'm so glad I d...
From online entertainment mogul, actress, and “queen of the geeks” Felicia Day, a funny, quirky, and inspiring memoir about her unusual upbringing, her rise to Internet-stardom, and embracing her individuality to find success in Hollywood. The Internet isn’t all cat videos. There’s also Felicia Day—...
YOU’RE NEVER WEIRD ON THE INTERNET (ALMOST) is an autobiography by Felicia Day. It tells the story of her childhood and growing up in the Deep South up to when she was doxxed during the #GamerGate mess.Autobiographies and biographies aren’t genres of choice when I’m searching for something to read. ...
I had previously heard of Felicia Day from The Guild, Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog, and the Goodreads group Vaginal Fantasy (I've yet to post a comment).Enjoyable. The writing style grabbed me. It's written in a way that pulls you in. She has lead an interesting life. Some advice that everyone shou...
