This was a nice short story. I love men in uniform and this was the perfect little story for my mood. Everything worked out well in the end, although I would have liked a longer story, I can't really complain. The "ex" part was something that came as a bit of a shock.

Part of His Hero Anthology
This story had promise with a sexy fireman and paramedic who have worked together for awhile without admitting their attraction/lust for each. However, the underlying story was just too weak and made no sense at all.
