So if your like me you haven't read many Japanese based books (something I'm looking forward to changing) This book is for you, much better than Stormdancer in my opinion. One of the best things about Japanese Based books is it can have magic in it and can still come off as realistic, there just som...

One day, when Tomasu is out on a ramble, he returns to see that the entire village has been slaughtered by the sold...

When I first heard of this series I was incredibly annoyed Gillian Rubinstein had moved on to something else (writing under the name Lian Hearn) before finishing her Galax Arena series. There was a third book promised and never delivered.Still, this series is interesting, an alternate reality with m...

I'm not rating this one since I technically didn't finish it. However, I am counting it for my challenge because I listened to roughly 3 hours of audio. The audio was good, however, I found it sometimes confusing to follow with all the names. I'll retry this at some point, but next time I'll read th...

Assassins are cool. Super powers, who wouldn't want some? That this is set outside the US and the UK, a huge plus. So what went wrong?Early on I assumedAcross the Nightingale Floor had been translated due to inconsistent, simple and superficial language. And I wasn't alone in my thinking. However, a...
