Alexei Cohen fell in love with Italy one evening long ago while watching the film La Strada in the basement of his university library. Since then he has met and married an Italian (she initially played hard to get), written and edited a series of travel guides about the country and enjoyed an infinite amount of pasta, red wine and gelato. He lives with his wife and two young children on the outskirts of Rome where he continues to cultivate his passion for Italy and travel as often as he can.
