Gorgeously written and illustrated issue about Willow set during season eight of Buffy. Won't make much sense without reading season eight first, but well worthwhile after.
In the end, I wasn't crazy about the Twilight storyline, although I liked it well enough on my first read. Add that with the fact that I didn't love Riley ever, and I knew this would be 'meh' for me. I wanted to read it for completion's sake, and also because I'd already bought it in a Humble Bun...
Joss Whedon comics are always the best. This volume was almost 400 pages, and it alone was worth the $15 I paid for the Humble Bundle. The art was great, the stories were great, and cmon, it's Angel. I absolutely heart Angel.
This series is very similar indeed to the Serenity comics, in that they attempt to fill in gaps left by the premature curtailment of the stories told during both series' TV runs. I re-watched Season 2 of Dollhouse in preparation for reading this and that re-familiarisation was probably necessary as ...

*Book source ~ Library Buffy hops forward a few centuries and lands in future New York where there is only one slayer left in the world. I read this and I’m completely lost. I have no fucking clue what this story is even about. Buffy must go forward in time? Why? I have no clue. It makes no sens...
*Book source ~ Library When some Japanese vampires attack the slayer stronghold in Scotland using some funky tricks that vamps aren’t supposed to be able to do and steal Buffy’s scythe, she sends Xander to go pump Dracula for information. Since Drac is the only other vampire they know who can tran...
*Book source ~ Library Something big is brewing and while Buffy is working on figuring out who or what the new Big Bad is all about, Giles and Faith have some work to do elsewhere. Ok, first I have to say that the cover on this one is not flattering. At all. I don’t like it. Buffy and Faith look...
