I enjoy writing for many reasons, but the main satisfaction comes from sharing stories with others. There's no greater thrill than to have a reader tell you that a book made them think, smile, or feel. I try to write stories that are authentic and real. I hope they entertain, but I also hope they inspire and encourage the human imagination. My latest book, Guilt's Echo, is similar to my other historical fiction, but with a twist. The gist of the story involves a girl facing social and economic challenges after her father dies and her fiancé goes with his National Guard unit to serve in World War 1. If you liked, Brothers of the Cross Timber, Mimosa Lane, or The Broken Statue, you'll like this book. I also just completed The Nephilim Code based loosely on the mythical and mysterious beings mentioned in Genesis as being, "the mighty men of old, the men of renowned." The story is a contemporary thriller where the characters try to unravel a mystery about their past, decipher a cryptic code, and uncover the true mission of an ultra-secret society bent on controlling the world. The Nephilim Code will be a change from my other books, but I've really enjoyed working on it and hope readers like it.Other book fictional books include: The Broken Statue, Brothers of the Cross Timber, Mimosa Lane, Lydie's Ghost, and Return from Wrath. Non-fiction books include: Dynamic Thinking: Models for Organizational Leadership and Spiritual Renewal: Transforming the Mind.
