I really enjoyed the tech aspects of the book. It was fun without being overbearing. Although I liked the world, I wanted more character development, especially with Bear. I liked both characters and I knew they were attracted to each other and came to care for one another but I didn't feel th...

I'm not normally a cyberpunk reader, but I needed one for a challenge so I read this. It was an enjoyable read with strong writing and characters. I enjoyed the romance between Cyke and Bear and all the biotech was interesting. It's still not a genre I would seek out, but this story was good. I'...

Nicely done. Sexy as hell, and briskly paced. A fun read that gave me four and a half boners.More, please.

Almost put this on my "possibly too scary for me" shelf, then I really paid attention to the warning.;pWarning: This book contains mechanical eyeballs, multimillion-dollar hand warmers, pushy mind probes, a man too stubborn to quit when he’s bleeding, an underpaid paramedic whose services are needed...

It proved to be an intense book, at times difficult to read. But a great story nonetheless.I would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the brutal second half of the book. And yes, everything was impressive and well witten but I, personally, would have preferred a bit more cuddle and happy time...

A great sci-fi/futuristic read. I really enjoyed the cybernetic tech here. Very realistic and gritty. This was a tight storyline that had me on the edge of my seat more than a few times. The relationship build here worked for me a lot as well. Great chemistry between Cyke and Bear and there was a re...

Please, more. This book is actually a lot more amazing than I first gave it credit for. I vaguely remember a couple of abortive attempts to read it when I first got it (I'm not even sure why; it's short enough I shouldn't have dismissed it out of hand). The whole world created here is fascinating. The...

This ended wayyy to quickly. I wanted more, so much more. I can't wait for this series to continue. I loved the characters, especially Cyke. He was so flawed and I felt like I was just getting to know him when this ended. I loved the intense interaction between Cyke and Bear. It was palpable ...

Holy cow! Where the hell is the next book in this series? RACHEL!!!!!!! She does this to me on purpose. That is the only reasonable explanation I can come up with. I'm now going to boycott. Unless she has all her books written in a series, I'm not starting them. Hrrmpph. (I don't know if I can...

I started the book and... *blink blink*... I finished the book. Where did the time go, I have no idea! It gripped me like a tidal wave and didn't let go until the very last page. Actually it kept me moving even beyond - to the "About Authors" section and excerpts, where I finally slowed down - LOL I...
