I started out really liking this. The Restoration setting was different and interesting and I liked the historical detail. But the relationship between the main characters was too up and down, filled with misunderstandings and constant new conflicts. I got bored and just skimmed the last half.
This was a surprise read for me. It's one of the rereleases I got with my Harlequin Historicals. I read it, with no expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised. I fell in love with this book. I found it pretty unique how the hero and heroine first come in contact. The heroine sees Gif naked. ...
