This is one of my least favorite of the Alpha and Omega series so far (in the Mercy Thompson World/Universe). Anna's birthday is coming up, so Charles plans to get her a surprise. It turns out Charles is old friends with Joseph who just happens to own an Arabian horse farm. Off to Arizona they go- f...

This is my favorite in this series so far. In this we learn a little about the past and perhaps a course for the future. Anna and Charles have their work cut out for them as the fae seem to be throwing their worst at the world. Good listen and read.

3.5 star read. On the whole I enjoyed the book but found all the horse descriptions/focus kind of dull. I ended up skimming these pasts, which is never a good sign.Still, Anna and Charles are always good value as a couple, perfectly matched but not perfect.Loving the fae element in these novels.
