I am a 25 year veteran of the comics industry. After working on over 60 issues ranging from DC Comics Superman to Marvel Comics the Silver Surfer and creating my own charater The Heretic, I begain focusing my attention on the gay community. I had always felt there were not enough positive gay imagery in the art and magazines as I was growing up. I developed my style on my illustration heroes Norman Rockwell and J.C. Leyendecker who inspired my JoeBoys. I took their homey approach to art that everyone could relate to in an attempt to capture scenes that reflected the joys of gay life. I wanted to focus on gay sensibilities an not specifically on gay sexuality.Over the past 15 years I have been lucky in my career to work on many iconic projects for the gay community including illustrating the Joy of Gay Sex third eddition as well as national ads for Bud Lite and many international publications in a series of books from Bruno Gmunder. Along with illustrating I also write and direct animated films and videos including the award winning House of Morecock and The Adventures of Stonewall and Riot.My latest project is a collection of my work over the lat few years as well as new never before published art called JoeBoys due this December.

*4.5-5 Stars**The Gush* As my severely long review of the previous volume in this series suggests, I love the idea and execution of these comics. The blending of old and new are wonderfully done and I feel help to both link the new with old beloved series as well as give the AOS a chance to shine on...
