Dr. John E. Becker is an author of 27 Children’s Books, including, Maggie The Talented Mouse, Frenemies for Life, Wild Cats Past & Present, Mugambi’s Journey, the Returning Wildlife series, and eight Seedling books. Dr. Becker is a graduate of The Ohio State University, a former elementary school teacher, college professor at Macalester College and the University of Florida, administrator at the Columbus Zoo, and he worked for many years in the field of wildlife conservation. Dr. Becker is now a full-time author living in Delaware, Ohio. He teaches writing at the Thurber House Literary Center in Columbus, Ohio, and he is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
