Implausibly well-read junkie street kid inadvertently becomes (in)famous monster killer. Rhode Island apparently has quite a vampire/werewolf/demon problem; no wonder it seemed so underpopulated when I was there. Sloppy but amusing (as is the fake author bio at the end).
