As I mentioned in a previous update, I picked this up from Overdrive looking for a quick read in between longer works. And it was quick indeed, partly thanks to the twists and turns that kept me hooked on the story. Also, kudos to the author for managing to throw in a final twist on the very last pa...

Harlan Coben had been recommended to me a number of times. I know quite a lot of people who buy all his new books blindly. Needless to say, this made me curious, so I got this book and wanted to see for myself if he really is that good... It was OK. The story is a bit unbelievable, as David and hi...

I tried this because it was on the Ultimate Reading List for Suspense, and that's the only reason I gave it over fifty pages, because the writing here, oh, it is painful in a way that I can't believe this is just a weak book for this author, but the work of a hack. No sappy cliche is left unwritten....

What happens when a soccer match, where a hyped and much talked about team was supposed to win with a margin of 5-0, wins by 2-1. The winning team fails to justify the hype and aura surrounding it, though the record books would show that they won. The same problem got associated with this book. It w...

Very good! A real page turner; I had a hard time putting it down. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author. My only real complaint would be that I didn't care for the way the cops were all kind of painted as being rather slimy.
