Just finished re-reading this one and I loved it even more this time around. Wulf has always been one of my favorite D.H. Well I guess he isn't technically a Dark Hunter but y'all know what I mean. Cassie is a bad ass and has had a pretty crappy life so I love the ending. I love how over protecti...

This was a really fantastic middling entry into the series, a wonderful change of pace, running alongside the stories of the past couple of books, and centering around a character that was previously heard but not seen, and certainly not in great quantities (only in Night Embrace, I think? At the be...

I didn't feel that invested in Wulf and Cassandra - I'm starting to feel that each book is really just filler for the more interesting story about who Acheron really is.So Wulf is an ancient Viking who was tricked into becoming a Dark-Hunter by a woman and Loki. I really love that this series has a humor to it. Slightly cheesy but its nice to mix in with the really emotional bits.I honestly teared up whenever Cassandra's birthday was brought up. Just so incredibly sad for her and Wulf to suffer that fear.I love that there is more to the Daimons than origina...

After re-reading this book for the 2nd time I have decided to change the book from 5 to 4 stars. It took me forever to finish because it was so depressing! The beginning of the book was great, just like I remembered and even though I knew ahead of time what happened reading it got me so depressed!
