Lea Tassie grew up in northern BC farming country, where men are men and women drive tractors. Nothing happened there between October and March and her passion for books began as soon as she could read. She has traveled to various parts of the world, and worked at a variety of jobs, which no doubt explains why she can't stick to one genre as an author. Her books include humor (about cats), romantic suspense, mainstream and lately, speculative fiction. Her left brain enjoys puzzles, bridge and plotting stories. Her right brain enjoys watching people and imagining what might happen if they are from another planet. When she has any spare time, she reads other people's stories.
