Cartoonist Mark Newgarden has been a creator of novelties (Garbage Pail Kids), film, TV and multimedia projects (from Microsoft to Cartoon Network) and print (from Raw magazine to the NY Times) among various and sundry careers.His books include Cheap Laffs, We All Die Alone and the award winning Bow-Wow series of children’s books with Megan Montague Cash. The eagerly anticipated How to Read Nancy (with Paul Karasik) will be released this year from Fantagraphics Books.Newgarden currently teaches at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and Parsons School of Design at the New School and the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
