Lightning, Mater, and the other residents of Radiator Springs celebrate Christmas in this short, rhyming picture book. It's a great way to get Cars fans to read, but definitely not the most fascinating book in the world for any parents or guardians reading along.
It's easy enough to imagine the pitch meeting: "What do girls love? Princesses and ballerinas. Let's give 'em both". I don't blame the writer. But someone has to pay.
I admire the marketing savvy of Disney. The book is mediocre at best, but beloved of a child interested in princesses and tigers.
