Renee' LadyByrd Burgess was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is currently a junior at the Florida Institute of Technology majoring Business Administration and Management. She is the mother of 3 beautiful children 2 girls and 1 boy. LadyByrd or Byrd as she is mostly called became and HIV Activist in 2008 months after being diagnosed the end of 2007 as being HIV Positive. Her story and her life is one that was destined to be shared, is being shared, and for decades to come will remain to be shared.Her book titled Married: But It Can Happen is due to be out September 3, 2013. This book will change the way married couples think about their entire union. Just when you thought that being married meant safety.She is also the founder of a non-profit organization called the LadyByrd Live Foundation, Inc. where their mission is to spread the awareness of HIV and AIDS through motivational speaking and teaching. To reach out to people of all ages who are infected and affected by this disease.
