Repetitive and boring. The illustrations made it more palatable. This book tries to explain the origins of the Unicorn myth but never really accomplishes its goal. It wants us to believe in these creatures while at the same time kind of proving they didn't exist? Confusing.I've always loved Unicorns...
Thanks to Bettie for this audio book. Jacobi is wonderful reading these poems. Love! The Hoard is my favorite.

4.5 starsAnother treasure from Tolkien and one I will probably re-read again very soon. A compact tail of Faery so descriptively fanciful that I myself almost became lost in the other worldly realm. I highly recommend it.
