Liked it. Though I wasn't as mesmerized by it as the hype surrounding it suggested, I still did enjoy reading this novel. The artwork was ok. Loved the premise, the dialogues were superb! Liked Marco but didn't warm up to Alana, not sure why. I am sure it's just gonna get more interesting.

A space fantasy if you don't need much space, Saga draws us into a story of forbidden lovers that is by turns funny, heartwarming, violent, and empathetic. Why do I always wait so long to read the best things and instead read so many of the not-so-great things? Saga Volume 1 is one of the best things. The artwork is beautiful, the dialogue is snarky, the characters are stunningly gorgeous and it is jam packed with action, blood-shed and weird imagery. ...

Beautiful artstyle and a really intriguing plot here, I love the way Marko and Alana interact. This is not what I expected, but it's actually even better. Can't wait to read more.

So I had problems with two previous books to fill this square, but luckily I remembered I had a stack of Saga volumes waiting to be read. From the get-go I had so much fun reading this first volume. I'm not one for kid narrators, but this story really works from the POV of Marko's and Alana's daught...

I've been hearing about how good Saga is for a while, so when I was searching through box upon box of comics at Comic Con this year, I came across Volume 1. It was half off, so I figured it couldn't hurt to get just one....I'm hooked. This story is great and the art is beautiful. I never did find...
