I was rather disappointed in this one. I enjoyed the series starter but this was bland and boring. I thought the plot with the secondary characters (the h/h from the first book) was more interesting and exciting than the woe-is-me h/h of this one. 2.75 starsThe romance was secondary and a wee bit unbelievable. I liked the subject matter and the writing was good, it just wasn't "down and dirty" enough to be anything special. Too many characters and sub-plots made this read fall short. Will read the 3rd because I already purchased it.
