I really enjoy Brubaker's takes on the big name superheroes. Whilst this isn't my favourite Batman story/collection, it is very good.

I actually read this a while ago, but forgot to mark it read on Goodreads. It was pretty good. I ship Batman and Wonder Woman, so it was nice to see them team up on a case in this. Unfortunately, I don't remember a lot of this, so I'll just have to leave it at I enjoyed it. :)

Why? I mean, every time I think the terrible ideas have to get better, nope. Every time I think, 'well, at least it can't get worse,' it does. Wade Wilson feels guilt over killing an innocent women, takes her husband's name, and goes on to continue murdering people for money. Because, ye...

This was nearly a four star read for me on the strength of the story with Roy Harper and the Justice League and the truly despicable villain Prometheus. He is not only a formidable supervillain but he is also maliciously psychopathic but in a very methodical way. The Justice League underestimated hi...

Having never really been a Batman fan, I am really enjoying these comics. I love reading different interpretations of the bat and his villians.I loved the premise of the white knight/angel and I hope to see him out and about again :)

Bad idea. It seems like a lot happened in that collection, and ...

Campy and overrated. It seems unfair to give Loeb credit for all of this. Emperor Joker is a nine issue arc written by many different people. The Loeb parts live up to expectation and he writes some pretty good Joker dialogue as well as funnily and eerily re-imagines a world fashioned by the king of...

I suppose this collection can best be described as "odd". It starts with Widdle Wade, a half-size Deadpool clone, and ends with the bizarre and pointless Baby's First Deadpool. In between is another long storyline, ending Kelly's run on the title. The end revelation that Deadpool is not Wade Wilson ...
