This was such a sweet and heartwarming story. I connected with these characters right from the start and didn't want to put this one down. The writing was great, with very good, often funny, dialogue and a different and interesting plot.

Very likable heroine! I don't like magicians, and circus and all this other stuff. So I had my doubts in the beginning. I never warmed 100% up to the hero, he was just that tiny bit too perfect and pretty. And the story line was so so predictable. Not sure how anyone could be surprised by the ...

I didn't know what to expect of this story. I saw lots of good reviews and I've heard the author recommended many times. I read "The Hooker and the Hermit" which she co-authored with Penny Reid, but that's all that I've ever read of this author. I also picked up "Painted Faces" because it was rav...

I went into this book blind. I didn't even read the blurb. I had a couple of book friends say it was a top read for them so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm super glad that I did.Immediately I knew the female lead was my kinda girl. Often I like the guy but not the chick. For awhile during this ...

Astrid's review 4.5 Clever Stars! I wanted to make more teaser pics but unfortunately I didnt get around doing them. Maybe I'll add some in the next couple of days. This was the first time I read one of L.H. Cosway's books. I loved the premise, having an illusionist as a hero who is out to...

Oh my gosh. There are not words to express how much I FREAKING loved this book! How have I not known about this book before now? Jay is probably the best hero I have read in a book. He is not an alpha d-bag, but still manages to be confident, sexy, and devoted. And Matilda is hands down my favorite ...

4.5 stars! I got really into this. The mystery surrounding Jay and his vendetta against the woman who'd ran his name through the mud in her newspaper articles. But there was also something else there, something he wasn't saying. I LOVED IT! I can't go into too much detail or I'll give everythi...

This was a great new discovery and definitely not my last LH Cosway. The author has a great way of drawin me into my story, not that it's difficult when it features a magician/illusionist plot - a true weakness of mine. A-

5/5 starsWoohoo! I was worried about this book, because somehow I tend to dislike books that everyone loves. But I didn't need to be scared! I loved it!It was romantic, wonderful, intruiging, mysterious, steamy and funny. I love it when an author can take on a genre where a lot of books are very sim...

This book was fantastic. I have no complaints. Jay Fields you are not a magician you truly are an illusionist, and Matilda you never stood a freaking chance against his illusionary ways. I think what I loved most about this book was actually just the dialogue. Everyone had this really laid back, fun...
