July 2014 Wimpy Book Challenge - Whittle TBR Mounds
Star Wars and History - LucasFilm
Dear Mr. Darcy: A Retelling of Pride and Prejudice - Amanda Grange

The two books are the ones I'm dead set on trying to get through next month. If I get through them quickly, I will then use my Book Jar to pick the next one.

We'll see how this goes this coming month but I think I can at least get these two read...one's I've been trying to forever!

June 2014 Wimpy Book Challenge Completed...review to come
Dawn of the Belle Epoque: The Paris of Monet, Zola, Bernhardt, Eiffel, Debussy, Clemenceau, and Their Friends - Mary McAuliffe

While my review is not complete yet, I wanted to post my completion of this month's part of the challenge.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and it's high on my list to buy so I can read it again.

I'll be posting my choice for next month's challenge tonight or tomorrow: Whittle TBR Mounds!

Boy, do I need it!

The votes are in!
Dawn of the Belle Epoque: The Paris of Monet, Zola, Bernhardt, Eiffel, Debussy, Clemenceau, and Their Friends - Mary McAuliffe
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers - Mary Roach
Mr. Churchill's Secretary: A Maggie Hope Novel, Book 1 - Susan Elia MacNeal
The Time Traveller's Guide to Elizabethan England - Ian Mortimer
What's A Ghoul to Do? - Victoria Laurie

The votes are in and by a clear victory it turned out to be Dawn of the Belle Epoque.

The way the books are above is the voting order, so Stiff came in a close second.

I'm starting the Dawn tonight but don't worry. The rest of these are coming down the line as well.

Just wanted to let you all know how it went and thank you so much for voting! I'm planning to do this again at some point, as I think it went very well.
