Wicked Flirt hides a powerful message within an adorable package. Being human doesn't make us weak. In the painful moments and foolish choices is where we find the most strength. Those moments shape who we are. Lexi and Marcus are learning how to face fear. If they can make it through stubborn pride, long suppressed wounds and matchmaking friends, they can survive anything. It's an uphill battle, but they'll be better for it.

A short story, inflated to a novella, marketed as a novel. I did appreciate that this installment had more of an actual story arc than most late series Blake novels - the length kept it from spinning too far off the rails. It also focused primarily (though not entirely) on her necromancy more than other metaphysical wankery, which was refreshing. Unfortunately she also manages to somehow add a new man to her collection (through force I might add), and repeat herself every other paragraph. So...yay? I give this a resounding meh. (Again, I'm reading these so you don't have to.)

The Scandalous Flirt by Olivia Drake is book Six in the "Cinderella Sisterhood" series. This is the story of Aurora Paxton and Lucas Vale, Marquess of Dashell. I have read the previous book but feel this is easily a standalone book .
After a terrible mistake Aurora was shunned from the town and her family. But now she is being called back home to help with an issue that has come forward. It seems her step mother is being blacked mailed and her much loved half sister may be hurt by the scandal if not stopped.
Lucas was a hard hero to love for sure. He is out to get himself a heiress to save his estate but yet he keeps going toward Aurora. But at the same time he is really harsh with Aurora. But through it all they do end up finding their ending.
