I know I should be working on my NaNoWriMo project but I’m just…ugh. Maybe if I read some more writing prompts, that will boost me up. Lately, all I’ve really been able to write is fan fiction, and I don’t know why. Because before that, all I could write was original fiction. (I try to balance out both really. It keeps me from getting bored or too stressed about stuff.) Off for more fan fiction and poetry I guess. (Even if that fan fiction is going to be OOC and depending on how I feel may never see the light.).

The awkward moment when you feel no remorse while killing off a character, even though you probably should. My 12-year-old self didn't feel any when she killed off two main characters though, so I guess that didn't change over the course of the years. Well...

I've tried. I've tried really really hard to write seriously and make it seem like I'm not exactly crazy or anything because it's apocalyptic novel and the whole mood has to be dark. I've even written 10k words somewhat normally. But then I came to that one particular part where I had no idea where to go next, so I started writing parts that come in future and I ended up going back to my batshit-crazy kind of writing with a lot more cursing and stuff and suddenly I had a lot more fun and I was writing faster than before and I'm really really sorry to however's going to read that thing, because I've tried but I can't write in a tone that's not me so yeah. Batshit crazy it is.

That moment when you write a scene and you laugh and you go all like "Oh my god I love that character!" and then you realize that the story is growing onto you and it's going somewhere.
