This graphic novel is centered around gender. Unfortunately, it's also sexist.Redeemed up to 2 stars, though, because the beginning was 😲

It's a good story, but with a sad sad ending. The drawing and story-telling are both great. After you get familiar with the characters, it is just so sad the male character cannot be together with the woman he really loves.

Well this was definitely an unhurried beginning to this series. Points go to the Y: The Last Man for having an intriguing premise. Without warning, all the males of the world are dead. Animal and man alike. The cause is unknown, the world is in turmoil, and revolution is on the horizon. Sounds fasci...

I picked up the first two installments because this series is always on the "Best Of" lists. Idk, it just wasn't for me I guess. It was thin and cliched and told a different version of the same story that others have told much better. Also Yorick is really annoying. I'm usually a stickler about fini...

Sigh. We started off with Girlfriend cavorting around the Australian Outback in a bikini top and daisy dukes (skin cancer, anyone?), and the book goes downhill from there. This seems to have been written not to address any sort of gender issues or stereotypes (which the premise is totally set up...

I really expected to like this series, based on what I'd heard about it, but it turned out to be a disappointment. There's not much story here, and what plot there is centers around the psychotic feminists who are trying to kill Yorick. It seemed a bit sexist, especially when you consider that Yor...
