This is my story of survival... I got a way from a man who physically abused me only to get with a man who mentally abused me and cheated on me. I lost everything I owned and faced a hostile environment in the South filled with racism and hate. I lost my two children and then was told by a fertility specialist that I would never get pregnant again. Then there was the drinking problem... Once a night club owner, with money, friends and family, events in my life brought me low. This led to a life of loneliness, desperation and poverty. I found myself in a fight for my sanity as I looked for a way out of my misery.
