The book can be read as a standalone.Arthur gets recommended as a assistant to a brilliant historian dragon shifter, Philbert (Bertie). Originally hoping to get the job as a chance to come across a dragon scale and solve his money issues, Arthur doesn't expect everything to get so complicated when h...

Still enjoyable the second time roundI really enjoyed this one. I love Bertie the dragon with the soft heart. And Arthur was also a great character, working away to try and get back to his dreams before they became just dreams.

If I had to summarize the plot, it would be like this: Arthur, a poor college guy starts working as...

3.5 ratingI liked this slow story very much, but I needed more plot, more action, more description, and maybe, the story to be longer, so that I could enjoy it more. I do like the series, and hope that it continues, hopefully with a little more meat.

This story is clearly not for meI liked the fact there is a dragon. And that's it... Unfortunately nothing more. For a romance it's too slow to my personal taste. NOTHING happened before 80% of my kindle fileFor a fantasy there is no world description at all. Everything (ALL SCENES!!!!) are in the d...
