A friend pointed this book out to me because I have this love of dragons. This story was sweet and fun and romantic. Bertie was one of those characters that was immediately likeable even if he hadn't been a dragon. I enjoyed the take on the dragon lore and the story of the red dragon and his boy w...

Smoldering hot. Bertie has got the slow burn down pat and poor Arthur is about to self-combust, and he's not alone. This is flirtation taken to the torture level; I think I held my breath for a good portion of the book.Dear, precious Arthur. Bertie might be too considerate for such a shy soul, I kno...

3.5 rounded up because dragon. And because parts of it really were kind of adorable.Extremely overwrought. And tons of whiplash, which I could follow because I myself am that random, but still, whiplash. It makes me feel like either the dragon's trying too hard to seem inscrutable or the author was ...

In some ways, I enjoyed this story more than the previous story, [b:Some Kind of Magic|11151607|Some Kind of Magic|R. Cooper|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1349055846s/11151607.jpg|16075339]. This is almost romance in its purest form. And it is a gorgeous gorgeous love story.Obviously, it has fantasy in it, seeing as it has the word "dragon" in its title. But this book is a slow, beautiful, gradual build up to a classic Happily Ever After. With dragons and all.All of the world, the histo...

Apparently dragons really are unbearably sexy. Apparently they're also bits of camp deliciousness and prone to repetitively alluding to things with stoner amounts of patience even when it looks like it's all a lost cause. Do you know what though, I am totally on board with that. The utterly gorge...

3.5Bertie and Arthur are adorable. I loved them. This is definitely a slow burn romance and loaded with charm. Loved the concept and the characters. Any issues that I had have to be with Cooper's writing style. It just doesn't quite work for me in a way that I felt a bit detached from the storyline....

Where the heck has this author been for me? I remember seeing the cover for [b:Play It Again, Charlie|13554459|Play It Again, Charlie|R. Cooper|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1332277429s/13554459.jpg|19124326] and thought it looked odd and passed, never reading the sample or anything. I saw someone ...
