Up late with insomnia so I re-read this (I last read it almost a decade ago). One of my favorite Spenser novels, it's a little bit more "epic" than most, and probably a little less believable, but pure escapist fun anyway.
Not one of my favorites in the series. A bit longer than most of the previous books with a pretty much straight ahead thriller type plot which was not to my taste.
