It's a short book and I finished it within 3 hours. I cried thought every pages. I don't know how a mother can treat her child as David's mom did. Once again, I am thankful for everything I have. I hugged and kissed my daughter a little longer tonight.

Dave's story is so horrific and sad that at times I felt guilty for questioning how true some of the events were. Nonetheless, I felt for him and admire his courage in moving forward with his life after so much adversity and trying to help others. It's a story that'll stick with me forever.
